Do you enjoy working with machines and would you like to create something you can be proud of? Do you have experience with CNC machines or would you like to learn the trade? At DS Metaal we are looking for an Operator for Machining who would like to get started with setting up, changing and operating our turning and milling machines.
What are you going to do?
As a Machine Tool Operator, you work with various CNC turning and milling machines. You set up the machines, modify them for the next task, and ensure that the products meet the required dimensions and quality. Programming is not part of this function.
You will have the opportunity to get to know more and more machines. This way you will continue to develop yourself and eventually be able to work in various positions within our machining department.
Your duties include, among other things:
● Reading and interpreting work orders, instructions and technical drawings.
● Independent adjustment and setting of the machines.
● Performing the first product check before proceeding with production.
● Production of parts and interim checking of the dimensions and quality.
● Performing final checks on the manufactured products.
● Timely detection of wear on tools and any potential defects.
Who are you?
You have an interest in technology, work accurately and want to deliver good work. You critically examine what you create and contribute ideas on how to make it smarter or more efficient. Additionally, you enjoy working together and are open to tips and advice from colleagues.
Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:
● You have experience setting up CNC machines, or are motivated to learn it.
● You take responsibility for your work and the quality of the products.
● You are eager to learn and want to develop yourself further.
● You contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere.
A specific diploma is not crucial to us. We consider your institution, technical interest and motivation to be more important.
